Getting started

How do I download PocketPro?

PocketPro is available for iPhone on the App Store. Download is free; PocketPro Pro unlocks unlimited rounds and the full AI caddie.

How do I create an account?

PocketPro is passwordless. Open the app and tap "Sign in with Apple," "Sign in with Google," or "Sign in with email" to get a one-time code. There's no password to create or remember. After signing in, you'll set up a brief profile (handedness, units, handicap, etc.).

Is my course supported?

PocketPro has access to over 20,000 courses worldwide. Search for your course in the app — if it isn't available, tap "Request course" and we'll prioritize adding it.

Using PocketPro

How do I log a shot?

During a round, tap the "Log Shot" button after hitting and the app captures your GPS location. Choose the club you used and the lie type, then save. For shots you forget to log, you can tap on the map to mark the landing position.

How many shots do I need to log for accurate recommendations?

You'll start seeing personalized recommendations after just 5–10 shots per club. Confidence rises as you play. After a few rounds, PocketPro knows your distances and miss patterns well enough to drive every recommendation.

What do the confidence levels mean?

• Low confidence: Fewer than 5 shots logged with this club
• Medium confidence: 5–14 shots logged
• High confidence: 15+ shots logged

The more shots you log, the higher your confidence and the more reliable your recommendations.

How does the aim adjustment work?

PocketPro tracks whether you tend to miss left or right with each club. If you miss right 65% of the time with your 7-iron, it'll recommend aiming a few degrees left to compensate — keeping your miss out of trouble.

What is mid-round adaptation?

If you're hitting it shorter or longer than usual during a round, PocketPro detects the pattern and adjusts recommendations in real time. You'll see something like "7-iron playing 8 yards short today" and the rest of the round adapts accordingly.

What's the hazard radar?

The hazard radar is a live compass view that plots every hazard, the green, and your aim zone at true bearing. It auto-spreads overlapping pills around the circle so nothing collides, and updates as you walk so you always know what's around you before you swing.

What does PocketPro cost?

PocketPro is free to download. PocketPro Pro is $6.99/month or $76.99/year and unlocks unlimited rounds, the full AI caddie, and every premium feature. New subscribers start with a 1-month free trial — cancel anytime before it ends and you won't be charged. See pricing on the home page for details.

How do I subscribe?

Open Settings → "Upgrade to Pro" inside the app, or tap any premium-gated feature to bring up the paywall. Subscriptions are managed by Apple via your App Store account.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Open Settings → "Restore purchases" inside the app. As long as you're signed in to the same Apple ID that originally subscribed, your Pro access will be restored.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Manage or cancel from Settings → "Subscriptions" on your iPhone (or your App Store account). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then.

How do refunds work?

All subscription purchases are made through Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Account & data

How do I sign in if I forget my password?

There is no password. PocketPro uses Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or a one-time code sent to your email — pick whichever is easiest each time.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — open the app and tap Settings → Delete Account. Your account and associated data are removed permanently. If you'd prefer help, you can also email [email protected].

Can I export my data?

Yes — open the app and tap Settings → Export My Data. PocketPro generates a CSV with your rounds, shots, and per-shot coordinates that you can save or share. Email [email protected] if you'd like a different format.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your shot data and performance statistics are private to your account. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on what we collect and how we use it.

Technical issues

Why isn't my GPS working accurately?

Make sure location permissions are enabled for PocketPro in your device settings (Always or While Using, with Precise Location on). For best accuracy, ensure a clear view of the sky. GPS can be less accurate in heavily wooded areas or near tall buildings.

Why is the app running slowly?

Try closing and reopening the app. Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store. If issues persist, contact support with your iPhone model and iOS version.

Why am I not receiving the verification code?

Check your spam/junk folder. Make sure you entered the correct email address. If you still don't receive the code, contact support and we'll help verify your account.

Tournament play

Can I use PocketPro in tournaments?

Distance measuring devices are generally legal under USGA rules. However, some PocketPro features (like aim recommendations) may not be permitted in all competitions. Always check local rules before using the app in a tournament.
